Anna Niesterowicz

(b. 1974), Polish visual artist. Sculp ture from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Warsaw, diploma in prof. Gr zegorz Kowalski (2000). Polish Culture Foundation Fellow (2001), rezydentka iaab in Basel (2003). The author of embroidered painti ngs on canvas (2001) and on paper (2000) - inspired by the folk makatkami urban scenes and manners, and drawings on paper - abstract based on the chemical formulas and various charts, ironically commenting on the reality.
